There is a variety of majors that are very useful. To answer this question we need to know more facts before we can analyze and conclude the most valuable career a young person could choose today.
Firstly, what defines a useful major? A useful major is one that provides information or another necessity for others, promotes good changes in the world, enlightens the mind, inspires new ideas, attempts to solve a current or future problem These five ideas are just a few basic things that make a major for a career useful.
Secondly, what is in high demand? A major that not many people are capable of or very good at is something that is essential to a useful career. Our country is run by supply and demand and not just in the business section, but in careers also. If there is a high demand for English teachers and not so much in the medical field, the English teacher has the more useful career. A few things that are in high demand now are careers and majors in the medical field, in science and engineering, in physics, in chemistry, and in mathematics.
Thirdly, what is going to be in high demand in the future? I think the careers I mentioned earlier, medical field, science, engineering, physics, chemistry, and mathematics, are always going to be in high demand. So these are some of the more useful majors.
It will benefit everybody. Physicists are constantly studying the world we live in. They find new information that can create a better way to live. Physicists are brilliant people. There are few people who would love to study the world we live in. There aren't many people that can. They are in high demand. They also help everyone directly or indirectly.
Majoring in physics would be the most useful career because it includes all of the basic ideas of a useful major that I named earlier in the second paragraph. In my opinion, it is important if your career continues to enlighten you. In a useful career the learning doesn't stop at college. This applies perfectly to a physicist who is always inquisitive about everything around them, big or little.
