Indonesian Physics Olympiad Team (TOFI) won top honors in physics experiments (the best experiment) as well as won two gold medals, four silver and two bronze at the Asian Physics Olympiad (Asian Physics Olympiad / APhO) the 10th that was held 22 April-2 May 2009 in Thailand.

Students are selected through the course since mid-November 2008. They were given a debriefing, both theoretical and experimental physics required in the Olympics. Development was done with the series lectures and exercises to finalize an understanding of concepts and skills in work on the problems.
Two months before departure, they are tested for solving problems that have been issued at the Olympic Asian and international level.
