Infotainment presenters are the public face of television, entertaining and informing audiences on television. Recently, most of infotainment presenters are also a celebrities. They have been actors, DJs, models, or musicians. For example, Yuanita, Lenna Tan, Cut Tari, Indra Herlambang, Thomas Djorgie, Ersa Mayori and Anita Hara. The right look, personality and skills are more important than qualifications for this programme. It’s different from news anchors. Many news anchors majored in mass communications or journalism. However, the job demands that anchors also must be well-versed in political science, sociology, psychology, and the sciences.
