Singer and TV personality Dewi Persik has broken up with boyfriend abroad Ferry Farid Yusuf Mansyur.
"This long distance relationship is challenging and difficult. We don’t have time to get on together. SO the wedding plan is officially canceled" Yusuf replied. But, some say Syaiful Jamil is one of the reasons why they broke up.
Candil and Ezy, have left the chart-topping Seuriues band. The announcement was made at Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta on Friday.
"Sadly I would like to confirm that I have left Seuriues band. This is because I’m bored and actually I want to refresh my life. I'm sure the group will continue to be successful and I wish them all the best" Candil said to the press.
Candil known for being the most talented of the band, Candil had helped give the group its identity as the leaders of ROCK BAND/HEAVY METAL.

The youth wing of Malaysia's hardline Islamic opposition party on Monday criticized government approval for a concert by Indonesian songstress Inul Daratista, saying her performances were unacceptable for Muslims.

Indonesian young diva, Rossa, successfully held her first big solo concert at The Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center last night, Wednesday 26 November 2008. The concert, titled Persembahan Cinta (A Love Tribute), performed 15 songs assisted by noted music director Erwin Gutawa and concert director Jay Subijakto and wrapped in beautiful costumes from famous designers Sebastian Gunawan and Sally Kuswanto. The concert was also featured Melly Goeslow and the Ungu band who collaborated with her on her latest album. The international singer Anggun was among the audience who was in Indonesia yesterday.

Unlike her previous album, ‘Elevation’ is observed as a carefully produced album in hope to not only capture interest and appeals to much wider listeners but at the same time able to maintain Anggun artistic style in almost all of her song. A similar effort made in ‘Loose’(2006) by Nelly Furtado.
However, not all the songs in ‘Elevation’ are hiphop influence.Its not a hip hop album persay. Appropriately, i would say that ‘Elevation’ are a collection of an upbeat, midtempo and slowmo urban sounds with multiple musical varieties from pop, rap, dance, ballad, hiphop and even rock. All of these tracks still carries Anggun’s signature style in every facets of the song.Anggun is known to refused to be associate with a specific musical genres. Over the years since the release of ‘Snow On The Sahara’, she enjoy expressing her creativity in many music genres.
